He was predeceased by: his wife Isabel (Fenerty); his son John; his parents, Kurtis Robarts and Edith Robarts; his siblings, Molly, Carl, Bill, Reg, Stewart, Merdel and Don; and his in-laws, Doris, Irvin Smiley, Bev McKibbon, Don, Brenda Fenerty, Bob, Yo Fenerty and Kay McKibbon.
He is survived by: his son Dan (Nicole); his grandchildren, Leah, Ashley, Abbey and Avery; and his brother Collin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dale's memory may be made to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or Northeast Cancer Centre.
