With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Lafayette (North Bay, Ontario), born in Kingston, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on July 8, 2025 at the age of 59, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Linton Lafayette. He is survived by: his spouse Gyllian Phillips; his children, Dwayne Lafayette (Amanda), Thea Lafayette and Zachary Lafayette; his grandchildren, Tallia and Demari; his siblings, Faye Lafayette, Leford-Lee Lafayette, Steve Lafayette and Paul Messiah (Dalton); and his mother Mildred Walker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B3Z8). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
