He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Gillies; his parents, Jean and Alexander; his siblings, Elsie Marceau (Paul), Alex (Joyce), Arthur (Erna), Ina Haines (John), Robert (Cathie), James (Teresa), Jean, Bill (Lulu), George (Nancy) and Margaret; his children, Michael (Tara) and Lori (Michel Chatelain); his grandchildren, Cody, Rebecca, Madison and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Gunnar, Remy, Merrick and Mazey. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and by his dog.
Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (Renal Unit) in memory of Don will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
