He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Sr. Mitchell and Mary Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his sons, Donald Mitchell, John Mitchell (Jen) and Jason Mitchell (Mandy); his grandsons, Andrew Mitchell and Joshua Mitchell; and his siblings, Christabelle Morrow (Wayne), Marina Mitchell, Carey Mitchell (Diane), Patricia Fudge (late Tommy) and Kirkland Mitchell (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
