Emilia Hlusek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emilia Hlusek (North Bay, Ontario), who passed away on December 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Emilia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emilia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Milan Hlusek; her brother Dr. Milan Truchly (Antonia Truchla); and her parents, Cyrill Simon and Cecilia Truchla. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle McMartin (Grant); and her sister Eva Ziacikova.
