He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Matton. He is survived by: his children, Ernest Jr. (Ileine), Miles, Grant (Christine), Steve (late Terry) and Shelley Khale; and his brother Homer Matton. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
