In loving memory of Fabiola Langlois Dorval/Goulet
Peacefully with family by her side, Fabiola Langlois (Dorval/Goulet) passed away at Woods Park Community in Barrie, Ontario on February 28, 2025, in her 105th year.
Fabiola was born in Newton Falls, New York in 1920 and her family moved to the province of Quebec in 1922.
She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Langlois, sons-in-law Leonard Wilson, Tom Whyte, Warren Seaward and 16 brothers and sisters: Berthe, Irène, Fred, Déline, Lionel, Émerie, Henri, Gloria, Leopold, Aimé, Bill, Robert, Béatrice, Dorothy, Émilien and Henri (2).
Leaving behind her 4 dear sisters and brothers: John, Thérèse, Paul and Lucille.
Loving mother of Colette Wilson, Diane Whyte (Dave Banks), Suzane Seaward, Evelyn (Al) Davies, John Langlois, Donald (Doris) Langlois and Rachelle (Mark) Comstock. Dear Grandmother to 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
She will be fondly remembered by her former daughter-in-law Joan Lafrance.
She grew up on Lake Kipawa on Baie-Dorval formerly Baie-Stenhouse renamed in 1989 in honor of her family. She met her husband Thomas Langlois in Quebec and they were married in 1940. The two eventually moved to Kirkland Lake, Ontario where they raised their children for many years. In 1974 they made their way to Temagami, Ontario which they called home for 26 years.
Woods Park Community has been her home for the last 9 years first in the retirement home and then in Long Term Care on floor 2B. We want to thank management and staff for providing quality care and giving our mother a pleasant and safe place to call home.
She was a generous, kind and loving mother and grandmother and loved her family unconditionally. She was a devoted partner to her lifelong husband with many fond memories. She was the matriarch of the family and was deeply loved by her children and grandchildren.
She will be forever in our hearts.
