François Martel Obituary

The memory of François Martel (North Bay, Ontario), who passed away on May 12, 2024, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though François may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those François touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his son Jean-Pierre; and his brother-in-law Jean-Jacques Savard. He is survived by: his wife Danielle; his grandchildren, Zachary, Samuel, McKenzie and Mya; his sister Diane Lamarche (Ron); and his daughter-in-law Nicole Martel.
