He was predeceased by: his sisters, Phyllis, Ruby, Ruth, Marilyn and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, JoAnna Johnstone (Fred) and Tina Thorkelson (Chris); his stepchildren, Kerry, Erin (Jon) and Krysta; and his brothers, Ken and Velven. He is also survived by his in-laws, many nieces, and nephews.
