He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Rose-Anne Bilodeau (Giroux); his children, Lorraine and Luc (Louise); his granddaughter Melanie Martin (Clay); his parents, Raphael and Anna (Menard); and his siblings, Noella Poitras (Louis), Marie-Ange Cardinal (Eddie), Irene Hotte (Phillipe), Norman, Gerald (Evelyn), Claude, Ronald (Sharon) and Eugene (Yvette).
He is survived by: his children, Carole, Jean-Pierre, Gilles and Lianne Martell (Billy); his siblings, Marie-Claire Bebee (Mark), Yvonne Carriere (Rheal) and Roger (Yvonne); and his grandchildren, Adele Drolet (Carl), Elise Charron (Marc), Charles Perron (Melissa), Danielle Taillefer (Cory), Martin Guillemette, Michelle Landry (Alain), Melissa Degagne, Jennifer Guillemette (Melissa), Garrett Guillemette and Gabrielle Martell (Benjamin). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
