He was predeceased by: his son Richard McGruthers; his parents, Robert McGruthers and Dorothy McGruthers; his siblings, Nil, Ann, Margaret, Jim, Eddie, Liz, Perry, Henry, Percy, Bill and Leo; Jennifer Lucas (Gerry).
He is survived by: his children, Kevin McGruthers (Debbie), Mary Ann McGruthers (John), Laurie Tench (Randy), Sherri Gagnon, Donald McGruthers and Janice McGruthers; his sibling Gord; Brian Campbell (Sara), Trevor Campbell (Amy) and Dyan Kennedy (Shane). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
