He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his daughter Linda; and his siblings, Earl (Alice), Bill (Doris), Jean, Betty Schwartz (Allen) and Audrey Gibbons (Howard).

He is survived by: his son John (Helen); his sisters, Marilyn Luft (Ralph) of Kitchener Ontario and Joy Carpenter (Don); and his grandchildren, Eric Thibault (Tina), Michigan, Sarah Vailloncourt (Luc) and Tanya Jackpine (Billy) of Chelmsford Ontario.
