He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephanie and George; and his father-in-law Buff Chapin. He is survived by: his wife Wendy (Chapin); his children, Courtney (Richard), Candice (Peter) and Kyleigh (Kalev); his grandchildren, Violet and Sloane; his mother-in-law Donna Chapin; and his siblings, Lorraine Geraldi, Rick Buryta (Twylla), Wayne Chapin (Vicki), Barney Chapin (Tammy) and Scott Chapin (Cindy). He is also survived by nephews and his best friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
