He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Sampson and Frank Sampson; and his son Paul. He is survived by: his children, Diane (Larry), Eileen, Joanne, Greg (Denise) and Doug (Joanne); and his friend Jeannine. He is also survived by his children, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bonfield Family Life Centre in memory of Gerald will be gratefully appreciated by his family.
