He was predeceased by: his siblings, André, Rhéal, Gérald (Vivianne), Michel, Julia (Julien), Marguerite (late Donat), Flora (late George), Marianne (late Edmond), Bernadette (late Victor), Rose (Henri) and Collette (Raymond); and his parents, John Giroux and Régina Giroux.
He is survived by: his wife Nicole Thibault; his children, Michelle Scott (Tom) and Gaetan Giroux (Sandy); his grandchildren, Adele, Jake, Emily (Scott), Robin, Justin and Jason (Giroux); and his siblings, David (Claudette), Daniel (Rollande), Gabriel (late Rex), Réginald (late Donna), Louise (late Jules), Raymonde (Conrad) and Jeannine (late Roger).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
