She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Matilda and Ernest John (Jerry) Thurston; twin sister: Violet Ivy; siblings: Stan, Art, Ernie, Vic and Fran; adoptive parents: Clara and Delmer Andress and WT and Charlotte Duncan; husband: Wilfred Newman (Newt) Bryer; children: Eric (Sheila), Bruce, Doreen (Karl) and Keith (Glad); grandchildren: Hilary (Eric), Graham, Zachary (Amélie), Adeline (Wyatt) and Jakob; caregivers: Annette, Caryl, Deann, Jennifer, Katie, Randy, Kleda, Ronnie, Tina, Caroline and Marie; other: Hap Wilson, Maureen, Linda, Heather and Annette.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Brice's Church.
As per Helen's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Brice's Church would be appreciated.
