He was predeceased by: his daughter Cathy Burns (Jim); and his brothers, Nevile Kenneth, Abe, George Ralph and Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Middlebrook; his daughter Donna Forget (Glenn Cousineau); his grandchildren, Samantha Burns (Nick Hayes), Joseph Forget, Jessica Burns, Justin Forget (Nicole Fisher) and Ryan Burns (Aylana Serson); his great grandchildren, Aiden Leeman, Owen Forget, Sheldon Forget, Cooper Hayes, Parker Hayes, Payton Forget and Elijah Forget; his siblings, Wayne (Ruth), Gary (Pat), Nellie Hunter (Paul) and Barbara; and his sisters-in-law, Gladys, June and Cindy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B 3Z8). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
