It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Huub Wigny of North Bay, Ontario, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Huub may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Huub touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wigny and Betty Wigny. He is survived by: his wife Herma; his sons, Marco and Robert; his grandsons, Julian and Yannick; his siblings, Elizabeth, Yvonne, Jeanette and Bernt; and his pet Oliver.
A reception was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hillside Funeral Services (362 Airport Rd, North Bay, ON P1B8W9).
