He is survived by: his godson Christopher Cassidy; his wife Annette Ferris; his children, Kelly Ferris, Carolyn Ferris (Jack Chu) and Kevin Ferris; his grandson Nicholas Chu; and his pet Ace. He is also survived by his friends and large extended family, with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

If desired and in lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully acknowledge as expressions of sympathy donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (directed to D3 Inpatient Medical Unit), the Sisters of Precious Blood (154 Northcliffe Ave., Dundas ON L9H 7L9), or a charity of your choice.
