He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanlan McIlroy and Violet McIlroy; and his sister Joan. He is survived by: his wife Wendy (MacDonell); his children, Heather (Chris Mahoney) and Mark (Pavla Pospisil); his granddaughters, Megan and Kaitlin; and his sisters, Julie (Dennis Evans) and Janette (Michael Mederios).
