It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Esther Deer of North Bay, Ontario, born in Cornwall, Ontario, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Halliwell and Helen Halliwell (Oliver). She is survived by: her children, Greg Deer (Maria Enqvist) of Winnipeg, Shawn Deer (Rhonda Gilson-Deer) of Waterloo and Susan Deer (Clayton Blackbeard) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Megan, Ethan, Charlotte of Waterloo and Scarlett of Toronto; and her siblings, John Halliwell (Mary Lou) of Calgary and Margaret Halliwell (Don MacDonald) of Toronto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
