He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph George Hughie Jr. and Micheline Wabano; his siblings, Chelsea Wabano, Angel Wabano-Hughie, Kiana Hughie and Madison Hughie; his spouse Sierra Mcleod; his child Ryker Joseph Mcleod; his grandparents, Annie Wabano, Mike Gull, Elaine McBean and George Hughie (Jackie); his aunts and uncles, Mary Jane Wabano, Joshua Wabano, Katheryn Gull, Anthony Gull, Norma Gull, Lance Gull, Sabrina Hughie and Damian Hughie; his siblings' children, Nylah Wabano-Edwards, Cloude Wabano and JJ Wabano; his mother-in-law Heather McLeod; and his grandfather-in-law Yvonne McLeod.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm (a mask and social distancing will be required along with the maximum number of attendees allowed in the visitation parlour).
