She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Rita (Vern); her nephew Greg (Cathy); her great-niece Heather; and her great-nephew Alex. She is survived by: her husband Harry; her children, Marti Martha Jane and Scott; her grandchildren, Hilary (James) and Curtis; her great grandchild Ned; her nephew Shawn (Rosemary); and her great-nieces, Anna and Kayla (Adam).

While Gayle's wishes did not include a service or memorial as a lifelong resident of North Bay, a donation to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation would have made her smile.
