He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; his parents, Malcolm Dan MacNeil and Christie Ann MacNeil; and his siblings, Norman, Mary Muto, Peter, Theresa Brown and Dorothy Mercer.
He is survived by: his children, Lindsay, John (Brittany), Heather, Leslie and Rory; and his siblings, Patricia Stockfish, Catherine Partington and Malcolm. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
Donations made to Alzheimer's Society, or the North Bay Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
