While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ment (Trix) and Reinie (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Aaron (Johanna) and Jennifer (Robert); his grandchildren, Grace (Logan), Aidan, Ryan, Jillian and Eric; and his close friend Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
