She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrik De Nijs and Katherine De Nijs. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Cook (Frank), Matthew Brooks (Cheryl), Cheri Boyer (Ken), Jeff Brooks (Caroline), Bonnie Maki and Gord Brooks; and her siblings, Henny, Peter and Wilma De NIjs.
