He was predeceased by: his sister Andrea; and his parents, William Hastie and Winnifred Hastie. He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Liberty); his sons, Kevin and Kurtis (Melanie); his grandchildren, Aidan, Ronan, Mila, Joshua and Zachary; his brothers, Garth (Shannon), Peter (Maureen) and Joe (Darlene); and his parents-in-law, Cyril and Elda Liberty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
