He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Asselstine (Martin) and Richard Asselstine; and his sisters, Else Hamilton and Carol Muffitt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane (Knapp); his children, Bill (Branka Milojevic) of Oakville, Kathy Wilcox (Jamie) of North Bay and Peter (Jen Tang) of Etobicoke; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam Mendler), Sarah Asselstine, Alex, Hannah, Cameron Wilcox, Callum and Sophie Asselstine; and his sisters-in-law, Marj Mossman (Ron), Mary Asselstine (Harber) and Michelle Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
