He was predeceased by: his siblings, Aline Duchesne, Marie Duchesne, Lea Duchesne, Rita Duchesne, Lucien Duchesne (late Lucette), Paul Duchesne and John Duchesne (Debbie); and his parents, Palma Duchesne and Laurette Duchesne.

He is survived by: his wife Nicole Duchesne; his children, Duane Duchesne (Jason), Randy Duchesne (Corrie) and Tammy Drouin (Kevin); his grandchildren, Caileigh, Alexandra and Logan; and his siblings, Desneige Lamothe, Cecile Duchesne, Eva Duchesne, Irene Menard (Ray) and Andre Duchesne (Joanne).

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B3Z8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
