He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurel Legros and Irene Legros (Susan); his son Ronald David Legros; his brother Joseph Legros; and his grandfather Leo.

He is survived by: his brothers, Arthur Legros of California and Paul Legros of North Bay; and his children, Sylvia Trudel (Robbin Besserer) of North Bay, John Legros (Treatrang) of Vietnam, Janice Lawrence (Steve), Peter Legros (Mary) of North Bay and Karen Low (Geoff) of Peterborough.
