She is survived by: her husband Michael Johnston; her sons, Christopher (Elizabeth), Scott and Aaron (Amber); her grandchildren, Aya, Gabriella and Sophie; her mother Marie (late Frank); her in-law Pauline (Melvin); and her sister-in-law Carol (Frank).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
