He was predeceased by: his parents, Emree Sr. Brear and Annie Brear (Blackmore); and his siblings, Gordon, Emree Jr. and Vera.
He is survived by: his wife Helene; his children, Michael Brear and Rosanne Brear-Pelland (Danny); and his sister Ida. He is also survived by many brother and sister in laws as well as many nieces and nephews.
