He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn; and his close friend Lola Benoit. He is survived by: his child Lenny Mannella; his grandchildren, Shannon Kerr (Howard), Shane Mannella, Dainan Mannella and Liisa Reid (Rob); and his brother Sam Mannella.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Louis will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
