She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Gillis and Lorna Gillis; and her brother Michael. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Leah and Olivia Spurvey; and her siblings, Lillian Vainio (late Esko), Louis Gillis and Fabian Gillis (Lesley).
