With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marinus Johan Verwey (North Bay, Ontario), who passed away on July 11, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willem Verwey and Sya Verwey; his brother Andy Verwey; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley (Tom) and Wendy.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Verwey; his children, Melissa Watts (Jonathan), Klaas and Amelia Beam (Jackson); his grandchildren, Emilia, Ruby and Matthias; his siblings, Bill (Marlene), Rick (Lynne) and Joyce (Ivan); and his siblings-in-law, Eric (Susan), Nancy and Beverley (Glenn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made to any children's organization of your choice, any missionaries of your choice and or Planting a tree in honour of Marinus.
