It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Willars Johnson (North Bay, Ontario), who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Johnson and Joyce Johnson. He is survived by: his daughters, Annie Johnson (Paul Montreuil) of North Bay, Katie Johnson (Tyler Knip) of Prince Rupert and Emily Johnson (Zachary Bizier) of North Bay; his grandchild Kai Doucette; his siblings, Kit Johnson (Jan Sullivan) of Calgary, Steve Johnson (Diane Johnson) of North Bay, John Johnson (Eva Moser) of West Vancouver, Marlo Johnson of North Bay and Mary Ann Johnson of North Bay; and his cousins, Vicki Prins and Janet MacPhee.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made, if desired, to the Humanitarian Coalition or the North Bay and District Humane Society.
