He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse and Eva (Cantin). He is survived by: his wife Juliette; his children, Gilles (Angie), Colette (Armand) and Diane (Marc); his grandchildren, Julie Amendola (Federico), Kelly Guillemette and Robin Guillemette; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Alessandre Amendola; and his siblings, Fernande (late Herbe), Cécile (late Arnel), Roger (Evelyn), Bertrand (Charlene), Gerry (Rose), Précille (late Maurice), Lucille (Harry), Suzanne (late Léo) and Rudy (Paulette). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in memory of Maurice will be gratefully acknowledged.
