He was predeceased by: his sister Cathy; and his parents, Lorne and Joan. He is survived by: his wife Natalie; his children, Christine, Matthew (Messy Margaret), Kimberlin (Patrick), Michael Jr. and Myles; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Benjamin and Madelaine; his siblings, Lorna, Marie and Timothy; his caregivers, Lexi Dobson, Dane Masse and Julie Cote; his cousin Andrew Alton; Sue Blais. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
Donations in Michael's memory can be made to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation ("Greatest Needs Fund" which allocates donated funds throughout all departments in the health centre).
