He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Rathwell and Olive Rathwell (Adams); his sister Donna Shortt (Jim); his nephew Richard (Laurie); his great-niece Cassandra; and his great-nephew Jordan (Jack Mackie).
He is survived by: his sister Debbie Hawkins (Tom Sr.); his nephews, Tom Hawkins (Pam), Ken Shortt and Robert Shortt (Holly); his great-nieces, Kayla Johnson (Brian) and Kendra Hawkins; and his great-nephew Preston Shortt.
