He was predeceased by: his brother Gilbert Joly (Jackie); and his parents, Lucien Joly and Fernande Joly. He is survived by: his wife Rose Joly; his children, Tina Francioni (Dave), Andre Joly and Janet Joly; his grandchildren, Matthew, Isabella, Tristen and Kieren; and his siblings, Maurice Joly (Glenice) and Gisele Joly.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian cancer society would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
