He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Emily; his parents, Melville Pletsch and Hazel Pletsch; and his siblings, Nancy Stratton, Laurie and David.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Stephanie Taylor (Rick) and Michael (Wanda); his grandsons, Isaac, Brennan and Matthew; and his siblings, Robert (Lena), Sheryl Norrie (Jim) and Lois Gallant (Ephrem). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family is requesting that no flowers be sent, but to instead donate funds to The Friends of Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
