It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Giroux (North Bay, Ontario), who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Yolande; his son Rémi; his parents, Patrick Giroux and Sylvia Giroux; and his siblings, Marie, Armand, Joseph, Anne, Patrick and Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Giroux; his grandchildren, Jolyne Edgar (Cody), Joël Séguin (Ashley), William, Maclean, Cole Teetzel, Alex and Erik Beaupré; and his siblings, Richard, André (Nicole), Pierre, Jules (Kathy), Ernest (Debbie), Henri, Aline (Karen) and Jean-Marc (Debbie). He is also survived by parents, siblings, friends.
Donations in memory of Oscar to either the Sacred Heart Parish in Corbeil, or to the Chisholm United Church would be greatly appreciated by his family.
