It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Gareau (North Bay, Ontario), who passed away on November 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul Gareau to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roméo and Andrée; and his stepparents, Lou and Virginia Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Ghislaine; his children, Alanna Norman (Don), Amy Ayotte (Dale) and Jo-Anne Dowdall (Blaine); his grandchildren, Meghan, Liam, Quest, Ocean, Malakai and Kayley; his daughter Sophia; and his siblings, Yvette Merkley (Al), Mary Palmer, Jacques Gareau (Lynn) and Rocky Palmer (Ardeth).
At the family's request anyone attending the visitation at the funeral home will be required to wear a mask or face covering, provide proof of double vaccination and photo ID. At the church masks or face coverings are required and social distancing requirements must be respected.
Donations in Paul's memory can be made to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation (cancer research), or the Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul building restoration fund.
