He was predeceased by: his daughter Jo-Ann Ferris (late Andrew); and his brother Jim Holding (late Mary). He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Kim Desmarchais (Ken), Kelly Kemick (Rick) and Jeff Holding; and his grandchildren, Shalyn, John, Lauren Desmarchais, Tress, Richard Kemick, Julie Ferris-Armour and Drew Ferris. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren.
