He was predeceased by: his wife Aline Major; his siblings, Rudolph Major (late Wanneta), Therese Fournier (late Rene), Marcel Major (late Marie), Claude Major (late Lorraine), Celine Devins (late Stu), Jacques Major (Edith), Jeannette Leblanc (late Henry) and Francois Major; and his parents, Donat Major and Pamela (Mable Major).

He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Bon (late Dave), Joanne Forbes (Don), Joyce Boudreau (Allan), Richard Major (Cheryl), Ronald Major (Julie) and Gerald Major (Lori); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, Douglas, Tom, Scott, Jennifer, Mathieu, Joshua, Jacob, Lucas, Megan, Wyatt, Jesse, Lindsy, Raymond, Michael, Sarah and April. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and so many family friends.
