He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Sohm and Amy Sohm; and his siblings, Ernie Sohm, Gloria Casselman, Ilene Aikens and Betty Bigelow.

He is survived by: his child Ryan (Julie); his grandchildren, Éva and Noah; and his sisters, June Mannella and Lillian McKee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
