He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Guertin and John Guertin. He is survived by: his sons, Eric (Jessica Egginton) and Patrick (Charlotte Cook); his grandchildren, Samuel, Katherine and Penelope; and his siblings, Normand Guertin (Carol), Gilles Guertin (Linda) and Pauline (Ed Costante).
