He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Ethier and Georgette Ethier; and his siblings, Mike Ethier, Joanne Ethier and Colette Vandecastyen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Ethier, Kimberly Ethier and Emily Ethier (Kyle McShane); his grandchildren, Dorian Ethier-Paul, Alexa Ethier-Paul and Isabelle Belaney; his siblings, George Ethier (Yvonne) and Judy Bainbridge (David Richardson); his friend Melissa Renaud; and his close friend Byup-Byup. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in his honour to the Canadian Cancer Society or the North Bay Humane Society.
