He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Plante; his children, Rachel Bertrand (Rene), Gilbert Plante (Tammy), Daniel Plante (Francoise) and Luc Plante; his grandchildren, Jean-Luc, Alain, Suzanne, Stéphanie, Danielle, Manon, Patrick, Jessica, Michelle and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Anabelle, Danika, Zakary, Zoé, Kaleb, Brielle, Jason, Daniel, Maéva, Nico, Cédric and Nixon; and his siblings, Cécile, Annette, Hubert, Yvon and Christine.
