He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Marie (Fink). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Jennifer and Andrew (Heidi); his stepdaughter Gayle (David); his grandson Bradley; his stepgranddaughters, Abbie (Sam) and Katie; and his sister Judy.
In lieu of flowers, Spence has requested donations to the Children's Branch of the War Amps or Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
